La Journée des Jeunes Chercheurs en Robotique

The 2024 edition of the Journée des Jeunes Chercheurs en Robotique will take place on Monday 4th of November 2024 on the campus Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris.

Since 1993, the aim of this day has been to bring together PhD students, post-doctoral students and young researchers from the various fields of robotics in order to discuss their latest advances and to strengthen the links within the community.

We would be delighted to  welcome you. Feel free to present your work, attend the presentations  or take part presentations or take part in our round tables!

Registration

Please register in the ‘Registration’ section after you have registered and logged in to scienceconf.

Participation

PhD students, post-doctoral researchers and engineers, we invite you all to contribute to this event, either by attending or by presenting your work.

To do this, we invite you to submit an abstract up to 500 words containing the title of your thesis (or the subject of your work for those not involved in a thesis), your laboratory, a few key words, and your progress accompanied by any relevant information (images, references, etc.): more information is available in the 'Abstract instructions' section.

During the day, depending on your progress and/or your preferences, we offer 3 formats for presenting your work:

  • 10/15 minute presentation (depending on the number of participants) followed by 5 minutes of questions.

  •  My Thesis in 180s. This presentation will of course be timed to comply with the MT180 rules.

  •  Posters. We invite anyone wishing to present their work to submit a poster, even if you have presented in other formats. Everyone should bring a printed poster in A0 portrait format.

In order to reach as many people as possible, posters and slides should be in English, although oral presentations may be made in French.

Throughout the day, there will be talks by young researchers and the Robotics Reasearch group (GdR Robotique), as well as a round-table sessions on topics related to robotics research.
